The past weeks have been as if in a dream. Had a bit of a ” Pshyco soundtrack to it. Usually, I wake up early in the morning to set a foundation momentum for the day to expand into. But I had been on a strange sleep cycle. So things became a bit altered.
My thesis in art school at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia was about the “Artist as Shaman” ( forgive the lack of a better term. ) The definition I was given was the one who “reveals unseen worlds to be seen”.
Without the proper context for and assistance in dealing with the breakthrough from another level of reality, for all practical purposes, the person is insane. Heavy dosing with anti-psychotic drugs compounds the problem and prevents the integration that could lead to soul development and growth in the individual who has received these energies. ~Jay Gaddis https://www.jaysongaddis.com/the-shamanic-view-of-mental-illness/
Welcome to my madness, I might say. I have been called crazy, for sure.
One of the books that I was using for my thesis at U of A, was the book by Jamake Highwater called “The Primal Mind”. The primal mind sees the 3D world as the dream and the sleeping state as the real world.
Over the years I have come experience myself as the one who is looking thru these eyes and moving through the body. The one sensing and perceiving. All this science about the power of the mind is so compelling as I create and relate to others.
“A common mistake when setting a goal is to indulge in fantasies about how great life will be after accomplishing it—without considering what’s currently holding us back.” WOOP
